How I Learned To Love Shrimp is a new podcast showcasing innovative and impactful ways to help animals. We seek to cover exciting projects that improve the lives of farmed animals, wild animals or accelerate building the animal advocacy movement.

ABOUT THE HOSTS
Amy Odene
Co-host
Amy has worked both professionally and voluntarily for social good causes for over 15 years. She is currently the Managing Director of User-Friendly, a creative agency providing marketing and campaigning expertise to non-profits.
In 2020 Amy co-founded Animal Ask, a charity supporting the animal protection space with dedicated research.
She previously worked in the animal advocacy space as both Campaigns Manager for ProVeg UK contributing to a UN Momentum for Change award and as Global Corporate Relations at The Humane League collaborating with the Open Wing Alliance to coordinate major global commitments across the food sector to free hens from cages.
James Ozden
Co-host
James is the Director of Philanthropy at Mobius, a family foundation focused on transforming the food system and reducing animal suffering.
Previously, James was the Founder and Director of Social Change Lab, a nonprofit that conducts and disseminates social movement research to help solve the world’s most pressing problems.
And before that, he spent three years building grassroots social movements to tackle climate change and reduce animal suffering, through his work at Animal Rebellion and Extinction Rebellion.
James also completed the Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program on how to launch highly impactful nonprofits.
